Abigail is Going to School!

Today, I had the pleasure of getting to capture Abigail's excitement over starting Kindergarten!  And yes, I realize it is Sunday, however I thought doing the pictures today would be easier than trying to get some good ones in all the hustle and bustle tomorrow on the REAL first day of school!  She was such a little cutie and of course made my job so easy by giving me so many good shots it was hard to chose the right ones, so without further ado...here she is

Some Cows Moo...Parker's GRRRROWL!

So today I had the privilege of photographing Parker!  Not counting my little shoot with my own kiddos the other night, he was my FIRST official client!  His mom Crista and Kelsey his babysitter were awesome help and such wonderful troopers seeing that it was 90+degrees with 150% humidity outside!  But it was Parker who did amazingly!  Through wardrobe changes and me with a camera constantly in his face...the end results were SO SWEET!  So here he is...my first real client...Parker the Little Buckaroo!  Enjoy!

Matilda Jane Trunk Show

In less than one month, I will be co- hosting a Matilda Jane Trunk Show at my home for their new Fall 2010 line, Field Trip. I've heard that the outfits are outstanding and the women's line is especially great this time around. A little blurb about me.....

Those of you who know me...I mean really KNOW me, know that I am a sort of "Jackie of all trades". I love to learn new things and when I find something that I am passionate about, I throw myself and my heart into it. I know that God has opened so many windows for me to peek into...some of those have been wonderful opportunities that have led to open doors...others have been graciously shut (slammed in some cases!) Whatever his plans are for me I am eternally grateful for all the blessings I have in my life...my husband who I admit gets a little exasperated with all my new ventures but who also lovingly stands by and allows me to succeed or sometimes fail! I am so thankful for my 2 beautiful kids Riley and Emma, they are an incredible source of inspiration and encouragement for me...I'm not the type to sit at home and be a stay at home mom however I want to be there to experience the growth in my children's lives...
SO, that leads me to where I am here...Maidens and Mohawks is a door a HUGE open portal into a land of dreams and hope where first breaths and first kisses are frozen in time and giggles and happiness are forever eternal. I hope that I can make you as happy as it makes me to catch these moments for you....
